Luma Ray2 now adds Image-to-Video
Ray2 by Luma was already impressive with its text-to-video model, but now it introduces Image-to-Video, allowing users to transform any static image into a dynamic, high-quality video.
Now available for unlimited plan users in Dream Machine, this new model delivers natural motion, realistic physics, and enhanced coherence. It also includes key storytelling features:
Keyframes: Control the narrative with start and end image keyframes.
Extend: Expand narratives into full stories without complex pixel editing.
Loop: Create seamless loops for UI design, product marketing, and backgrounds.
Why this is important?
Ray2’s innovations make it a powerful, accessible tool for video creation, eliminating the need for advanced editing skills. As AI video technology advances, Ray2 is helping set a new standard for effortless, high-quality content production.

Adobe releases AI Video with Firefly
Adobe Firefly Video has arrived, entering public beta. Adobe’s claims it was trained entirely with the company’s own stock images and other “safe” materials.
Text-to-video and Image-to-video capabilities
Portrait (9:16) and widescreen (16:9) formats
Upload of first and last frames
Adjustments for shot size, camera angles, motion, and seed numbers
Sounds good. But…
This thing is pricey. As part of the release, Adobe has introduced two new subscription plans: Firefly Standard and Firefly Pro.
Starting at $9.99 USD, Firefly Standard offers access to 2,000 video/audio credits per month and up to 20 five-second 1080p video generations.
Firefly Pro offers users access to 7,000 video/audio credits per month, up to 70 five-second 1080p video generations and starts at 29.99 USD.
I mean, just 20 videos for a month? Sometimes I spend those just rolling for one tricky shot. C’mon, Adobe.
Why this is important?
If price isn’t a concern, Firefly Video offers an improved AI video workflow with 1080p rendering in 90 seconds, full integration into Photoshop and Premiere, and strong copyright compliance.
Veo 2 is being tested for Youtube Shorts
Veo 2, Google’s video model, is now available in Youtube Shorts in the US, Canada, and New Zealand. To use it, just open the camera (on Shorts), choose “Green Screen”, then “Dream Screen” and enter your prompt.
