At the start of the week, the buzz was all about Gemini 2.5, Ideogram 3.0, and Reve, until OpenAI dropped a game-changer: image generation inside GPT-4o.

Boom.

This could be the most significant leap in AI image generation of 2025. Now, with a simple prompt in ChatGPT-4o, you can create stunning photo illustrations, infographics, cartoons, posters, and more, all within a conversation.

Google says Gemini 2.5 is its “Smartest Model”

Gemini 2.5 is the latest iteration of Google's Gemini family of artificial intelligence models, and is designed to excel in reasoning, coding, and handling complex tasks across multiple data types, including text, audio, images, video, and large codebases.

What sets Gemini 2.5 apart is its "thinking" capability, meaning it can reason through problems step-by-step before responding, leading to improved accuracy and performance.

Why this is important?

Its ability to "think" makes it adept at tackling intricate problems, from scientific research to software development.
With native support for diverse data types and a massive context window, it can handle real-world tasks—like analyzing entire code repositories or generating executable code from a single prompt—that were previously impractical for many AI systems.
Google positions Gemini 2.5 as a rival to models like OpenAI’s o1 and Anthropic’s Claude 3.7 Sonnet.

Ideogram launches its 3.0 version

Ideogram, a platform known for being one of the best AI Generators for Text, has upgraded to its 3.0 version. Available now to all Ideogram users for free, this update improves the creative possibilities for creators.

What’s new

It has improved its ability to produce highly realistic images blending into real-world aesthetics, generating spatial compositions and intricate backgrounds.
It’s one of the best tools for handling complex design layouts and stylized text.
It now has a Style Reference feature, which allows users to guide image generation using up to three reference images.
It introduces the Random Style feature, drawing from an extensive library of 4.3 billion presets.

Reve has launched a new advanced text-to-image generation model designed to excel at prompt adherence, aesthetics, and typography. This marks the company’s first release, with future tools expected to follow.
